Today I did 30 crunches and 12 pushups before riding my bike. I also took the dog for a walk, but it was a fairly short one; my leg muscles were protesting badly. I think taking such a long walk yesterday tired them out. Last summer I backpacked around Wales for two weeks and my legs were very upset with me by the end; I don’t want to strain them that way again. Thankfully I won’t be walking the dog again for several days at least. I should definitely walk her more often, though, and see if I can’t train those muscles up.
